Starts from Marrakech

Marrakesh, an imperial city in western Morocco, is a cultural center with mosques, palaces, and gardens. The Red Medina is a walled medieval city from the Berber Empire, with maze-like alleys and souks selling traditional textiles, pottery, and jewelry. The Koutoubia Mosque, a 12th-century Moorish minaret visible for miles, is the city's symbol. It brings together the old and the new. Enjoying the atmosphere is a major tourist attraction, with snake charmers and colorful shops encapsulating Morocco's vibrant spirit. The richly decorated heritage buildings in the city center have an impressive appearance and are among the most famous monuments in the country.

Marrakesh is also the gateway to the High Atlas, Morocco's main activity area, where you can go hiking, cycling, climbing, and do a variety of other activities. Even on a brief visit, you can get a taste of Moroccan mountain life by taking one of the many Marrakech day trips available from the city. Discover the city's highlights with our comprehensive 7-day tour from Marrakech.

Mosque • Marrakech

Day 1:Arrival at Marrakech.

Get off at the airport when you arrive and move to the Medina Riad in Marrakech Historic Centre, a 2-minute walk from the Jamaa el Fna Square. The best alternative in the afternoon is to visit the medina alone, reaching the spot where there are many narrators, jugglers, and diviners in the evening. Charmers of serpents, singers, removers of teeth, etc. Night in Riad. Overnight.

Day 2:Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate – Dadés Valley.

Take your hotel at 8 a.m. and head to the High Atlas, a branch of the Moroccan Atlas, to the port of Tizi N'Tichka with hops and photos of the Berber villages that camouflage in the countryside. The path to the South goes to the Ksar, where we will visit the famous Kasbah (UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1986). We will visit Ait Ben Haddou. Popular films, including Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, Sahara with Penélope Cruz, etc., have been filmed on this spectacular level. Free lunchtime in the area. Then we proceed to Ouarzazate also known as "Desert Doors," meaning "noiseless or unconfused" in the Berber language. The kasbah Taourirt will be seen here, one of Morocco's most impressive ksars. The next place to go is Rose Valley through the large palm grove of Skoura; a marvelous location where over 700,000 palm trees and many kasbahs are found. Roses for beauty use and prized rose water are grown in this Valley. Annually in May, the Rose Festival is an important Moussem for Moroccan culture. At last, we arrive in the Dades Valley and overnight there.

Ait ben Haddou Kasbah

Day 3:Dadés Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga – Camel Trek and overnight in berber camp.

After breakfast, from one strategic view in the mountains, we enjoy a most spectacular view of the Dadées valley, which offers us many kasbahs and scenic features. The valley from Tinerhir City leads on a very nice asphalt road to the canyon, then to the mountains. We can enter the Todra Gorges after several pauses. The landscape is fantastic. Locals live in the town and in their villages you can see them. These gorges are popular with rock climbers thanks to their rugged sides with many uneven surfaces. You have free time for dinner at Tinejdad or Touroug after a short stroll in the Todra gorges. We travel on to the desert to reach the magnificent Merzouga dunes. We will go on a camel ride in the middle of dunes (Erg Chebbi) for an hour to our nomad camp. Before dinner, we can see the dune sunset, then sleep under a lovely starry sky in a tent.

Day 4:Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Cedar forests and monkey troupes of Azrou – Fes.

We had a "Date with the Sunrise" really early in the morning. In the middle of the desert, it is a 'must do' to wake up early to see the most beautiful sunrise in the dune near the camp. Then we come back to Merzouga by the camels where we are waiting for a delicious breakfast. If we've been set, our last day is the biggest palm grove in the world in the Tafilalet to the north. Through the 20 km route, you can see thousands of palm trees. This route leads us to the Valle Ziz, which descends from the high Atlas river and feeds palm trees. We stop here and enjoy a splendid view of the valley and the town of Aoufous from this high viewpoint. In the heart of the Atlas, where you can have lunch and relax for some time, we make another stop at Midelt. In the afternoon we proceed through the forests of Cedar, where we can see a few monkeys if we are fortunate. The nearest location is Ifrane, found at 1630 meters above sea level in the northwest pit of the Middle Atlas. It looks like a Swiss city with its large streets, urban growth, parks, green areas, and architecture. In Morocco, Ifrane thinks wrong. That's why it is called Moroccan Switzerland, and it has a big ski resort if this isn't enough, Michlifen, About 6 pm we arrive at Fez.

Camel trekking • Merzouga

Day 5:Fes to Casablanca via Rabat.

The guided tour will encourage you to visit the Royal Palace and its districts like Mellah, La Nouvelle Ville (Villa Nueva), and Fez-El-Bali, the ancient region of Lameda. There are winding streets that provide the only means of transport for boarding. We will take you on the route in the morning to explore the City of Fez the cultural and religious hub of the world. No doubt in ancient times you will be transported. The study of Arabic and religion was considered the oldest university in the world, and the magnificent buildings that you ever imagine have been in the center of that city. This is a genuinely special experience. The mausoleum of Muhammad V is located in Hassan's courtyard and houses King's tomb and two kids and is distinguished by its classic Arab-Andalusian theme, which then finishes our journey to Casablanca. Then we go to visit Rabat, where you can see the mausoleum of Mohammed V.

Day 6:Casablanca to Marrakech.

After breakfast, we will tour the city of Casablanca and visit the Hassan II Mosque. Built-in 1993, the emblematic Hassan II Mosque is the second biggest mosque worldwide on a plateau overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, one of few open to non-Moslems. La Corniche is a beachfront district with a variety of restaurants, pools, and beach services, situated in the same location as Hassan II Mosque. Then our journey to Marrakech begins.
