Pre-planning a trip to Morocco is as exciting as it is important. With so many different cultural identities, landscapes, and histories, there may be is too much to see in too little time. Here Our mission begins! This is how you can get a full Moroccan experience in 4 days.

Day 1:Marrakech - High Atlas - Telouat Kasbah - Ait Ben Haddou - Ounila Valley - Ouarzazate .

On the first day of your 4 days from Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour, our driver/guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8.30 in the morning in a private 4x4 vehicle or Mercedes mini van (for a big group), to start your Morocco desert tour of 4 days from Marrakech to Merzouga Sahara trip departing to Ouarzazate going through the High Atlas mountains. On our way, we´ll see Tizi Ntichka port with 2.260m is the highest point in our country. We´ll enjoy beautiful colorful landscapes from the viewpoints on the way and make some stops to take pictures of the Berber small villages. Then we´ll take a small road that goes to Telouat Kasbah( Telouat Kasbah was the palace for the Pasha of Marrakech Thami El Glaoui and his family). After visiting the kasbah you´ll have free time to enjoy typical food in town or we will leave to the next site of Ait Ben Haddou through the Ounila valley, where you can see small Berber villages and families that live in adobe houses lost in the mountains, to reach the ksar (fortified village) of Ait Ben Haddou where we will visit the famous old Kasbah (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). Many famous films have been shot on this spectacular stage, including Gladiator, Game of Thrones, Laurence of Arabia, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, Sahara with Penélope Cruz…etc. After visiting the kasbah we´ll continue the way to Ouarzazate also known as “The gate of the desert”. Dinner at the hotel where we´ll spend the night.

Day 2:Ouarzazate - Draa Valley - Nkob - Merzouga Desert - Camel ride and night in the Berber tent .

After breakfast in your hotel/riad in Ouarzazate, we´ll start our second of 4 days desert trip from Marrakech to Merzouga departing towards the Draa Valley where you can see one of the longest rivers in Morocco. On the way we make some stops to take pictures and enjoy the view of the spectacular old kasbahs and Berber villages on the road as well as the green palm groves of the Draa valley. You´ll have some free time for lunch in Nkob or Alnif depending on the time when you get hungry. Thereafter we will finish our way to the desert for about two hours driving we´ll reach the wonderful Merzouga dunes. “Desert of powdery Golden dunes”. We´ll change there our motorized transportation for one of animal traction to go inside the heart of the desert of Erg Chebbi. When we reach the camp, we accommodate in the tents, which are made of camel hair, just like the ones used by nomad Berber families. Dinner and night in the Berber tent under a beautiful starry sky with Berber drums performance.

Day 3:Merzouga Desert - Rissani Market - Erfoud Fossil’s - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley .

On the third day on this Sahara tour of 4 days from Marrakech to Merzouga Your camel man/guide will wake you up early “Date with the sunrise” is a “must do” to contemplate the most spectacular sunrise you´ve ever seen in your life at the top of a dune close to the camp and enjoy this beautiful landscape that is a gift of nature, then we return to the camp for a heartwarming breakfast is waiting for you and shower before getting on the camels back to Merzouga area. Afterward, we leave the desert to go to Rissani where we`ll visit the marketplace (market days: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday), then we continue to Erfoud where we can visit the manufacturers of fossilized marble before starting our way to Touroug and Tinjdad. One hour later we will reach one of the best places in the High Atlas mountains, the Todra Gorges. The course of the river has carved out cliff-sided canyons, and caves and it´s because of its beauty and the high rock sides that are very popular among climbers. You will have a short walk through the gorges is very advisable to better appreciate the beauty of the landscape. In the afternoon we continue to the Boumalne Dades valley, also known as the figs valley going through Dades gorges where we`ll stop at the “monkey legs”. Dinner and night at the Dades gorges.

Day 4:Dades Valley - Roses Valley - Palm Groves of Skoura - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech.

After breakfast in your hotel/riad, your last day for the 4 days from Marrakech to Merzouga desert trip will start from one strategic lookout in the mountains, from there we can appreciate the great number of kasbahs and the scenic characteristics of each one. Then we continue our way to Rose Valley (Kalaa Mgouna) the capital of roses in Morocco. Afterward, we will have some stops to enjoy the “One thousand kasbahs road” to the big Skoura palm grove we`ll get to Ouarzazate to visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, the old residence of the Glaoui or Marrakech *pasha ( *The representative of the king in the area). And if you are interested we can visit the cinema studios and the cinema museum. You will have lunch in the town of Ouarzazate then we start our way back to Marrakech going through the mountain port of Tizi Ntichka with some stops to take pictures. Here we leave back the moon landscape to reach another view full of colors. We`ll get to Marrakech at about 6 pm, transfer to the hotel, and end our services of the Sahara desert for 4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga.
