2 days from Marrakech to Zagora desert tour

This trip consists of two days (two days, the first of which starts from Marrakesh and the last of them ends at Marrakech airport passing through Zakoua) planned as follows: On the first day, we will leave from your hotel or the riad where you are staying through the Atlas Mountains and the famous Tizi-n-Tichka (2260 m) to finally arrive to Ouarzazate. We then ride along the old carriages, for a better understanding of how the oasis lived. You came to Zagora. On the second day, you will have to get up early if you want to enjoy the view of the sunrise. Break for breakfast and then depart via the main road from Ouarzazate to Marrakesh to reach the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou. Continue from here on the new road to Telouet Kasbah, the famous master of the Atlas. We will return to Marrakesh, passing through many Berber villages on the banks of the river

Day 1: Marrakech – Zagora

You leave the main road from Ouarzazate to Marrakesh to reach the Ait Ben Haddou UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was used as a backdrop to many Hollywood blockbusters and was one of the major locations on the ancient caravan roads of Salt, from which traders took slaves, gold, ivory, and salt from Sub-Saharan Africa to Marrakesh and beyond. Continue from here on the new road towards Telouet Kasbah, the renowned Lord of the Atlas. The Glaoui family, now in ruins after the last Pasha fled the land after the French departed. The return to Marrakech is on the main road that runs through numerous Berber villages on the banks of the river. Sometimes you go down through the valleys, lined with fruit trees and oleanders. The garden is filled with olives, noodles, grenades, apples, pears, and quinces. Berber women and children care for sheep and go up steep paths to find fodder and firewood. In the early evening, we come to Marrakech.
